Remote First Aid Excellence

This comprehensive two-day course is specifically designed for outdoor enthusiasts including fishers, bushwalkers, 4WD adventurers, trail bikers, and campers. Through hands-on, scenario-based training, you'll master the skills needed to provide advanced first aid response in remote and isolated environments where medical assistance may be hours away.

Certifications Earned

• HLTAID009 Perform CPR
• HLTAID011 Provide First Aid
• HLTAID013 Provide First Aid in Remote Situations (We can also issue SISOFLD004 Provide first aid in remote locations)

Age Requirement: Participants must be at least 16 years old

Course Requirements

• Complete online training before course commencement
• Attend all practical sessions and assessments
• Complete minimum 2 minutes of CPR on the floor
• Ability to lift and roll simulated casualties
• Wear clothing appropriate for outdoor activities
• Bring required items (list provided upon enrolment)

• Pre-course material completion
• Written theory examination
• Ongoing practical first aid responses
• Scenario-based practical assessments
• Continuous competency evaluation
